Jounrey through lockdown

A Sudden Stop,

Life came to a Halt 

Compelled to stay within 

Our cages were shut and locked 

The world deflated to a window view 

Time began to stale and nothing seemed new 

Death was stinking  on the news 

The Silence, a vicious Mockingbird 

My sob stories loneliness patiently heard 

Merging circles into circles , words into word 

One morning the Robin songs were waking me up

The Whirring Breeze was shaking me up

Nature’s conspiracy was working me up 

Outwitting lethargy it was time to let loose 

I jazzed up the jazz, sang along the tunes

I was my own solace, perhaps my own muse 

Outstretching my wings to tackle the skies 

Bliss taught me how to smile whenever despondencies arrived 

Depression had to flee  the building 

It was HOPE that kept me ALIVE 

H E R -Holy Grail

God is a man  and has he ever told you?

God broke the mould that mould you 

You deny Gods and dance along 

with Lucifer's whims, Oh! the Cold you 

Devils growl in grave angels offer their souls 

and but you play them all the bold you 

Take off the diamond cuffs , you are the holy grail of grace 

showered and carved in gold you 

you turn tables, twist losing games into winning streaks

i am redeemed each time i breathe 

i am lucky but my hands are the luckiest to hold you 

Pain Pain Pain

When we were young this all began 

We knew nothing of pain, pain , pain 

We met at different walks of life again 

When we had bared pain, pain , pain 

We were a mocktail of death and depression 

Perfect combination for pain, pain , pain

In love he was God and i was his selfless slave the devotion 

In penance I endured his pain, pain, pain 

Toxcitiy cheated with depression  

and soon we three were living in the house of pain, pain , pain 

kicked out,  from the   scene 

and let toxicity and depresssion stayed

In the end it was me and pain, pain , pain 

night thoughts

 some times when things appear okay and fine

i slide into the corner and turn off the lights

bury my face in the pillows 

and cry

 आते हो मगर यादो में 

मिलते हो टुकड़े- टुकड़े वादों में 

लूट गयी रियासते गरूर में 

इलज़ाम आता है पियादो में 

पानी भर गया हड्डियों में 

अब ना रहा दम इरादों में
