Umbra coils around me, a suffocating embrace.
The more I gasp, the less air I seize.
I swallow my withering breath under fear's bed
Demoniac doubts dance wildly, and finally, I'm dead
A sudden pause in their jubilation,
A regretful interruption.
Uninvited, unannounced,
The colossal, burning ball of helium rebound
Your radiant, infinite hands reached in,
Shaking the cradle where I’d been confined.
The heat stroke, a feathery brush against my skin,
A seismic upheaval awakens within.
My shutters burst asunder, life explodes in every view,
A phoenix rising from the ashes, born anew.
On high alert, her hounds she dispatches,
You become my guardian, my steadfast matches.
The unforgiving, scorching fever pursues them behind her cloak.
The hunter is now the hunted, no escape to invoke.
As I ascended to my feet,
Darkness felt trapped and couldn’t compete.
She tried to expand her dark domain,
But Helios outshone her, a celestial chain.
The treacherous clouds dissipated and vanished,
The sun gleamed brightly, exhilarated.
I knew you wouldn’t silently attend my funeral,
I sensed you had cosmic plans for me, a stellar duel.
Oh, eternal light in the sky,
I bow to you forever, your watchful eye.
