Cat Phase

 When i was yoing  i saw a rat eating up itself 

and soon i became th rat eating up myself 

When i was gifted a hamstter on the wheel 

and i became the hamster to make you happy running on the wheel 

My mother brought a parrot who would stare

and so you trashed me and i became the parrot who would stare 

Every morning crows lined up on the balcony cawing loud 

I shut myself up and became the crow cawing loud 

Then i met a cat 

care free and lazy

now i am the cat

unbothered and lazy
